Tiny Ndongo was just 2 years old when he came to Ape Action Africa under tragic circumstances. He had lost his entire family to poachers, and had been starved and abused himself.
Rescue, loving care, good food and medicines gave Ndongo a second chance. He came to us very weak and sad; He is now thriving, as are the other 280 orphan primates who have found safety and family at Ape Action Africa.
But COVID isn't letting up. Closed borders are causing shortages of food, medicines, volunteers and funds. Illegal trafficking is at an all-time high. And every month more innocent chimps like Ndongo need the safety of Ape Action Africa.
